Turkey Burgers w/ Homemade Cranberry Sauce

What You’ll Need for Turkey Burgers (3 servings):

  • 1 lb ground turkey (93% lean/7% fat)
  • 1 Tbsp fresh sage, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp fresh thyme, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • salt/pepper to taste
  • Cranberry Sauce
  • Toasted English Muffins
  • Mayonnaise or Olive Oil on the English Muffins (if desired)
  • Microgreens

What You’ll Need for Cranberry Sauce:

  • 12 oz. bag of fresh cranberries
  • 3/4 – 1 c sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • orange zest to taste

What to Do:

  • Mix together ground turkey, sage, rosemary, thyme, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl and form 3 equal patties.
  • Heat 1 Tbsp olive oil in a large skillet on medium heat.
  • Fry formed patties over medium heat, flipping approximately every 3 minutes. Keep flipping every 3 min until patties are firm, and cooked to 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Serve on toasted English Muffins and optional mayo or olive oil. Top with Homemade Cranberry Sauce and Microgreens.
